What
can I do if my computer won't start?
-
The first thing you can do is check all the power leads - are they plugged
in - are they fitted properly?
-
Check fuses and any circuit breakers in the house.
-
If all connections are OK then check the computer - are the power and hard
drive lights on?
- If
the answer to this is no then the chances are that your
power supply in the computer needs replacing.
- If
the power light on the computer is lit then try to restart again.
- Is
there a 'beep' when the computer starts up?
- If
the answer is no then you may need a replacement
graphics card.

My

- This
is a common problem and can mean that your computer is infected with a virus.
- Try
restarting the computer while holding down the
F8 key. The computer should display a start-up menu.
- Choose

-
